Battle Group Steps:
7.7 Chamber of Flame
Location: Deep Volcanus

People: 2 Groups
Encounter: Basically just have everyone concentrate on Flame and not the orbs. Once Flame dies loot and get out of room. Find Katorii before moving BG to one of the 6 safe spots. There are 2 north, 2 east and 2 south rooms. South room is best to move BG too.
7.8 Katorii's Gaze
Location: Deep Volcanus

People: 2 Groups
Encounter: Have the bg stay in the safe room. ( To get them there , have someone disband from their group .. head east and make sure Katorii is no where around. Once it is clear have them all run south all the way down stairs and go to the room behind the stairs.) Once they are safe , have bg leader and rezzer with speed prefrably avod Katorii and pull the snakes to the room. The order is Breath first. bring the snake to the safe room for bg to kill. Plate will fall , bg leader then heads south, runs the plate to the mechanism at Typhoon Gate. Repeat again cept this time kill Touch Snake, then Blood snake. ( reason is it weakend Katorii) When Blood dies Katorii will walk around with several yellow con snakes . These snakes are invunerable. Kill Katorii and snakes will despawn.
7.9 Typhon's Gate
Location: Deep Volcanus

People: 1 Group
Encounter: Enter Typhon's Lair by right clicking the hand print on the door and head into one of the two caves on the left or right. Kill one gorgon or snake and recieve credit for encounter.
7.10 Typhon
Location: Deep Volcanus
Items Needed: None

People: 2 Groups can do this, best to have 4 Groups
Encounter: OK there are traps here and to see them you must have your effects turned on. Once you do you will want to set people up at each of the 4 camps that Typhon can spawn at. Avoid the traps and go into the lava where necessary. After you have all 4 camps covered and when he spawns at that location attack him. Typhon prefers to spawn in the NE and far East camps, but can spawn at all four until he is dead. Typhon is invulnerable to heat, but cold damage hits him hard.
Group Steps:
7.1 Gauntlet of Fire
Location: Deep Volcanus

Encounter: To receive credit you just have to walk into room at end of hall with all the factions. Best way to do this is port to Deep Volcanus and hit the room as you are completing trial 2 and going around to all areas to get faction.
7.2 Faction Standing
Location: Deep Volcanus
Items Needed: None
Items Received: None
People: 3-4
Encounter: To get credit for this you need to gain factions wtih all 4 races in Deep Volcanus. You will receive a pop up stateing that you have received faction after you complete it. Once you have all four you will receive credit for trial number 2. Best way to get this is to port to Deep Volcanus run through trial 7.7 with Flame. Go to the right and start with the Gorgons, get faction then move south. The Gorgons will turn you to stone and are the hardest by far in this area. After you get the next faction you will have a room to your right. Go there to receive credit for 7.1. Finish off the last two factions by continuing in a counter clockwise motion. In last area go to the trial area and you will see 4 lions. These are the final trials for Group Steps.
7.3 - 7.4 - 7.5 - 7.6 Final Tests??

Encounter: Each of the 4 trials will take 10 min. no matter what. Make sure to have an open slot in your inventory before starting the trial. You will be given a token which will port you out when trial is completed.
7.3 -- Apophians: There are several ways to do this. If you have a tank and a HF, then just engage him keep agro and no one else attack or hit him. You do not want to kill him or he will split and keep splitting. You can also take him down to 5% health if you don't have a tank for engage and then stop attacking him and just run around the room. He will move slow so you can avoid him. Either method you will have to do for 10 min. Everyone should stay in center to avoid getting hit by fireballs.
7.4 -- Volurguns: Kill the main Volurgons that pop as fast as possible. There will be orbs flying around the room ignore them. IF you dont kill the Volurgon fast enough the orb will come to center and do and AOE.
7.5 -- Shaitan: Just kill everything that pops for 10 min striaght.
7.6 -- Hephaestians: Just kill everything that pops for 10 min straight.
